Even in a small space, with the right, carefully thought-out plan, you can still have the kitchen or bathroom of your dreams. We’ll guide you step by step into creating the plan that will turn your new kitchen or bath “wish list” into a reality.

Before you shop for kitchen cabinets, we’ll help you realistically analyze your family’s storage and cooking needs as well as understand the differences in cabinet construction, door styles, finishes and surfacing materials. We’re here to help you design the cabinet plan that will function best for you and maximize your storage and counter space.

We will draw your kitchen or bath in plan and 3D views so that you can fully understand how your new space will look and function. In addition, a 3-dimensional drawing can show you how subtle changes in door or drawer fronts, counter heights, and cabinet style can influence the overall outcome.

CB Wilson Interior Design is a fully independent interior design service so you can use this plan to shop for cabinets or we would be happy to help you make the most of your plan by working through the details with your builder and cabinet supplier.

Selection and placement of furniture in any given space has to consider many things: foot traffic pattern, lighting, conversational groupings, proportion, use and proximity to other rooms in the home. For instance, in many houses, the living or family room has to serve several different functions and occasionally accommodate as many people as possible. These challenges are best worked out on a furniture floor plan to avoid the costly mistake of buying something and bringing it into your home only to find out that it “just doesn’t fit” or it remains unused.

If you need new furnishings –the fabrics, furniture and cabinetry we recommend are based on first hand knowledge of quality and origin. We consider the style, scale, shape, comfort and practicality of all the furnishings needed for a room to be successful. We also design built-in storage cabinetry.

In addition to working with your favorite furniture retailers, we can make available to you fabrics, lighting fixtures, and upholstery directly from small, specialized American manufacturers. An additional benefit of purchasing this way is that the quality, size and finish of many of these pieces can be customized to fit your needs.
